The Entry Level into the world of Amateur Radio
Welcome to the Beacons.
The Beacons is the home of the Widnes and Runcorn Amateur Radio Society
Foundation and Intermediate courses are run on demand.
Advanced courses are run twice a year and are run over 16 week periods (2 hours per week).
LATEST NEWS:
After many happy years at 'The Beacons', Cheshire Council decided to close the building.
We are using our temporary venue in Kingsley, which is a few miles away from the Beacons.
The Advanced radio course is taking place every Friday night, where our Lead Instructor, Dave Bibby, continues to teach.
